Make-Ups & Missed Classes

Eligibility for Make-Ups:

• One Make-Up Per Session: Each child is permitted one make-up class per enrolled class for the session.
• Exceptions: Additional make-ups may be allowed in cases of severe illness/injury (with a doctor’s note) or religious holidays (must be pre-approved by the director).

Scheduling Make-Ups:

• Scheduling in Advance: Make-ups must be scheduled at least 12 hours in advance by emailing scarletknightsgymnastics@gmail.com.
• First Come, First Served: Make-up slots are limited and will be scheduled based on availability. These spots are not guaranteed, so please schedule promptly.
• Non-transferable: Make-ups cannot be rescheduled to a previously missed class, even if availability changes.

Make-Up Attendance:

• Responsibility: It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to schedule and ensure attendance for the make-up class. Simply submitting an absence does not automatically schedule a make-up.
• Cancellation Policy: If a scheduled make-up is missed or canceled less than 12 hours in advance, the make-up class will be forfeited.
• No Carryovers: Make-up classes must be completed within the current session. They do not carry over to the next session.

Special Circumstances:

• Injury or Sickness: Extra make-ups may be granted for sickness or injury with proper documentation from a doctor. Please refrain from bringing sick children to class.
• Weather Cancellations: If a class is canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, an additional make-up opportunity may be provided.

Abuse of Make-Up Policy:

• Consequences: Abuse of the make-up policy (such as frequent cancellations or no-shows) may result in the loss of make-up scheduling privileges or future enrollment in classes.
