General Policies

Please review all policies in the text and links (red buttons) below. By signing our waivers when enrolling, you agree that you have read and understood all of our policies upon registration.

Arrival, Drop-Off & Bathroom Breaks

Arrival:
Please ensure your child arrives on time and ready for class, so they can participate in the warm-up. The warm-up is vital for stretching and injury prevention.

Drop-Off:
Parents are encouraged to walk their children into the gym. For Parent & Tot, Pre-School, and Kindergym classes, parents must remain in the facility during class; drop-offs are not allowed for these age groups.

Bathroom Breaks:
We recommend using the bathroom before arriving to minimize bathroom usage during class. If your child needs a bathroom break, please accompany them if you are present. If the parent is not present, children must go with a buddy or be escorted by a staff member (but not enter the bathroom with them). Our staff cannot assist in changing diapers or be alone with children in the restroom.

Entry & Exit Procedures

Check-In:
Please check in your child at the front desk each day.

Entry Timing:
Do not enter the building more than 15 minutes prior to the start of class to minimize the number of people inside.

Exit Timing:
Please promptly exit after class to allow space for the next group of gymnasts and spectators. The gym is only responsible for your child during the scheduled class time.

Facility & Spectator Policies

Gymnastics Area Access:
Entry into the gymnastics area or onto the equipment is not allowed unless directed by a staff member. This includes siblings, parents, and children who are waiting for or have finished their classes.

Waiting Areas:
Children must wait quietly in the designated seating area until their instructor begins the class. Parents are encouraged to remain in the seating area, unless instructed otherwise during an emergency or if a parent is needed on the floor to console a child.

Parent & Tot Classes:

Only one adult is allowed on the floor with a child in Parent & Tot classes. Other parents must remain in the seating area.

Restricted Areas:
Families are only permitted in the gymnastics facility, the front lobby, and front lobby bathrooms. Access to upstairs or other restricted areas is not allowed. Any families found in unauthorized areas will be asked to leave without a refund or make-up class.

Spectator Guidelines:
Spectator policies are subject to change based on local health guidelines or executive orders.

Equipment Use:
Gymnastics equipment is for class use only. No one is permitted to sit on or use the equipment. Please use the provided seating or stand in the designated areas.

Food & Drinks:
Only water is allowed in the gym. Any food or other drinks must be consumed in the front lobby. Water filling stations are available near the bathrooms and seating area.

Attire & What to Bring to Class

 Required Attire:

  • Leotard or well-fitting athletic T-shirt/Tank Top, and athletic shorts, pants, or leggings.
  • No jeans or skirts for safety reasons.
  • Hair must be pulled back, and no jewelry (except stud earrings) is allowed.
  • No gum or food during class.

Safety Considerations:
Ensure all drawstrings on pants/shorts are securely tied to prevent them from getting caught in equipment.

Footwear:
Bare feet only; socks and stockings are not allowed.

What to Bring:

  • Backpack or bag for personal belongings (including shoes and coats).
  • Water bottle (clearly labeled).
  • Extra hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol).
  • All personal items should be labeled with the child’s name.

Storage:
Belongings will be placed in each child’s designated cubby, bin, or chair.

Lost & Found

We are not responsible for items left in the gym. Lost items will be placed in the lost and found box. Do not bring valuables to class.

Behavior Expectations

Respectful Behavior:
All gymnasts, families, and spectators must treat staff and others with respect. The following behaviors will not be tolerated:

  • Yelling, name-calling, belittling, or threatening comments.
  • Refusal to cooperate or follow facility rules.
  • Disruptions to classes or attempts to disrupt others watching classes.
  • Displays of violence.

Consequences:
Any violation of these conduct rules may result in a family being asked to leave the facility. In extreme cases, Rutgers Police may be called. No refunds or make-ups will be provided, and families may be permanently banned.
